Lance & Idolatry

Got this in the mail the other day. I’ve gotta say that I don’t really care one way or the other about Lance and his success. I think that the world either loves or hates him for the same reasons that they despise or love the leaders of countries but, this painting is a bit over the top for my tastes. The thing that killed it was the water it looks like he’s receiving, appears to be coming from the hand of the Statue of Liberty. That’s the tops. I can now say that I’ve not seen it all, but this ranks towards the tops in the lame department. I’m going to have to suspect that the Lance fans are the issue. Not Lance his self.
